 Post subject: Example: Neighbors child does not want to go home

I really do not know the Parents, but my neighbors 9 year old daughter has told us that there is no food in their home and the house is so dirty that she would rather stay with us. we never see the parents home what should we do?

In this Example I would locate the parents and try to pay them a visit to see if calling 911 or one of the other agencies listed at
CAPS website! was needed.I would most definitely feed her :)
